Nice job Steve, It could not have been said any better.
I always looked forward to seeing John at every tournament and skiing get together. He will be painfully missed.

John was a truly inspirational guy. What happened to John could happen to any of us. I heard Chet Railey almost had his face ripped of recently. He got a product from Fluid Motion. Masterline also has solutions. You can also make your own. I used some kitchen drawer liner (rubber like materialw/ ~ 1/16" holes) & zip ties. Any strong netting you can't stick your fingers thru will work. I put the netting from the top of the Y down ~ 5'. Skied with it & worked fine. I am sure John would want all of us to protect ourselves.

Stephen,

Would it be alright to post a link to this (your pictures too) in the waterski forum? You did an awesome job here! Crystal used many of your quotes and pictures in her slideshow that was showing at the calling hours this afternoon.

Thank-you for capturing in words here what a great guy John was.
