What happened to John could happen to any of us. I heard Chet Railey almost had his face ripped of recently. He got a product from Fluid Motion. Masterline also has solutions. You can also make your own. I used some kitchen drawer liner (rubber like materialw/ ~ 1/16" holes) & zip ties. Any strong netting you can't stick your fingers thru will work. I put the netting from the top of the Y down ~ 5'. Skied with it & worked fine. I am sure John would want all of us to protect ourselves. John was a truly inspirational guy.
